Marta Mamos, MPT graduated with honors from the University School of Physical Education in Wroclaw, Poland in 2003 where she obtained a Masters in Physiotherapy. Since moving to New York in 2005, Marta has worked in multiple clinical settings and developed a specialty in the treatment of orthopedic injuries. She has treated patients in all age groups and levels ranging from the weekend warrior to the professional athlete. Marta dedicates herself to professional development through continuing education courses to enhance her manual and orthopedic skills. She is particularly interested in McKenzie and Maitland assessments and treatments of orthopedic disorders.
Marta's interest in treating orthopedic injuries stems from her own personal interest in sports. As a teenager, Marta competed in speed skating, swimming, track and field and basketball. Her love for physical activity continues as she enjoys spending her spare time working out, hiking, skiing, swimming, running and other outdoor endeavors. In addition to sports, Marta enjoys foreign films, ethnic cuisine and loves to travel. Her native tongue is Polish but after training in France speaks French as well. Marta offers a straightforward, energetic and fun path to recovery.
